Of Swords: Where it Begins (possible working title), is the culmination of over 20 years of labor. Critically unacclaimed science-fantasy author Lulu welcomes readers to the start of a sprawling and massive cosmology of technology, wonder, and universe-spanning travel.
Embark from sudden beginnings with Tyras, a youth of Earthly and alien heritage as their journey of intrepid adventure commences.
This work is dedicated to my mother and my partner Deggy- and everyone who said they wanted to read my "book" when I was a kid. Sorry that it took so long!
Most changes to the text in the future being a possible third round of basic revision. Anyone who supports this work will be able to see a detailed changelog when I update the piece. I cannot promise page number granularity to the changelog, but I promise to at least explicitly dictate what was edited.
PLEASE remember that this is in-development, and I will be posting updated versions in the following weeks. The storyline is done and will not change between any further revisions, I had to hand-proofread and edit this by myself, it may contain some minor revision errors that I will continue to correct as I move towards the ILLUSTRATED
The second big change, and a big reason to support this piece RIGHT NOW while it is still "incomplete" will be that I will give everyone who purchases THIS version of the novel access to the Illuminated First Edition when the imagery for the novel is finalized and added to the document.
As well, supporters of this book will also get free access to some extras that might go into becoming an art-book in the future.

Update 3/2/2024:
Fixed some pagination issues, this will change page numbers- but make reading overall snappier and more visually pleasing.
Basically just ensured that the PDF text won't go off the margins, as I noticed this was happening in some places even though it was not occurring on my original document.

Hi! <3 Came across the book on friends' recommendation. Bought it because, honestly, it sounds really heccing amazing. The fact that this is a life's worth of work, sounds fascinating, something we would like to immerse ourselves in, and ... also just, kind of inspiring and hopful.
Uhm. That said. Don't want to be bothersome or ask for any work to be done on our behalf, but would it be possible and easy to export this as an ePub, and also without the margins? The margins are super pretty. Like, sincerely. They were the first thing that caught our eyes when we opened the book. But we tend to read mostly on our phone, so this would make things more comfortable, especially when holding the phone vertically.
